Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Ai Canadian Solutions Ltd. governing your use of the ShellSage app and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service
ShellSage lets you save server connections and connect to and manage your own servers from your mobile device, with optional AI assistance. The Service is a tool: you are solely responsible for the servers you connect to and the commands you run.
Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep your password and device secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized use. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
Acceptable use
You may only connect to systems you own or are authorized to access. You agree not to use the Service to break any law; to access, probe, or disrupt systems without authorization; to infringe others' rights; to distribute malware; or to interfere with or abuse the Service or other users. You are responsible for complying with the rules of any network or server you connect to.
Your content and credentials
You keep ownership of your connection details, credentials, files, and anything you create or transmit ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and transmit Your Content only as needed to operate the Service for you (for example, to sync your saved connections across your devices and to deliver AI assistance you request). You are responsible for keeping your own backups of anything important, including SSH keys.
AI assistance
AI features generate suggestions and explanations and can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. Always review suggested commands before running them, especially on production systems. You are responsible for any command you choose to run.
Subscriptions and billing
Some features require a paid subscription. Paid plans may begin with a free trial. Subscriptions renew automatically for the chosen period until cancelled, and you can cancel at any time before the next renewal from your account settings or the app store you purchased through. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Prices and plan features may change with notice.
Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Ai Canadian Solutions Ltd. and protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or create derivative works from the Service except as permitted by law.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that it will connect to every server or network. You use the Service at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ai Canadian Solutions Ltd. and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or business, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ai Canadian Solutions Ltd. from claims, damages, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms or any law or third-party right.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that could harm others or us. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict of law rules. You agree to the courts located in Ontario, Canada for any dispute, subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
